HOUSE RULES

These policies are in place to ensure that everyone has a great experience!
If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.

COVID-19

All guests are required to wear an approved mask while inside of the studio. If you have concerns about this please email us at info@hairholistic.ca

All guests will be asked screening questions 48 hours before coming in for their appointment and again when they arrive.

We are by appointment only. We will not be able to accept walk ins for services, or retail sales. Please purchase your products online and choose pickup at your service or within opening hours. If you’d like to make an appointment please EMAIL or call 416-536-2332.

Please arrive on time for your appointment. We are not permitted to have a waiting area, and are operating on a strict schedule to maintain proper cleaning procedures.

We regret that we won’t be allowed to shake your hand or hug you.

Only the guest with a reservation is permitted in the studio.

As is always the case, records of guest contact information (e.g. full name, telephone/email), including date and time at premises, are maintained on-site for contact tracing purposes, should the need arise.

There will be a temporary Health + Safety fee of $2 added to every order.

RESERVATIONS

We will only be communicating through email at info@hairholistic.ca and the studio phone 416-536-2332. This is to ensure that we can work as a team to handle the large volume of requests. Thank you for understanding.

We will be doing basic colour, highlights, balayage and all haircuts. At this time, we will not be offering colour corrections or advanced colours due to time constraints.

You will receive a confirmation email 48 hours prior to your reservation that includes a mandatory health and safety questionnaire. We must receive the completed form 24 hours before your reservation, otherwise the reservation may be cancelled and a fee charged.

CANCELLATION
Last minute cancellations and reschedules mean that we usually cannot fill that reservation spot, which means a loss for the business. We require more than 24 hours notice for any changes, otherwise a fee of 50% of the service will be charged. Not showing up will result in 100% of the service being charged. Thank you for your support and understanding.

LATE POLICY
We want to respect everyones time, our stylists and our guests. To ensure that everyone has a great experience, arriving 15 minutes late or longer may result in a reduced service or rescheduling your appointment. The cancellation policy will still be in effect for these types of changes.

ILLNESS
We want to encourage everyone to take care of themselves! Some of our staff have health conditions that may become more serious even with a simple cold. Should you arrive sick, we reserve the right to refuse service for the safety of our staff and other guests. Thank you!

PERFUMES
We try to remain a scent free space, although a small number of our products contain a light smell. Please refrain from wearing heavily scented perfumes or personal care products before coming in.

ADJUSTMENTS
Should you not be satisfied with your service, please contact us as soon as possible. Complementary redo’s are at the discretion of the stylist and must be completed within 2 weeks of the service.

CHILDREN
We do not use permanent hair colour on children under 12 years old. There are semi permanent options for them. This is due to their bodies handling toxins differently than adults, as well as their hair being softer and more easily damaged. We will give them all the funky cuts they want!

SUSTAINABILITY
We have partnered with Greencircle Salons to divert up to 95% of our salon waste properly. An Eco Fee of $2 is added to
every ticket except blow outs and formal sets.

We wish to acknowledge this land on which our hair salon operates. For thousands of years the city known as “Toronto” has been home to human activity. This area we stand on is the traditional land of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to live and work on this land.
