These policies are in place to ensure that everyone has a great experience!

COVID-19

All guests are required to wear a surgical or medical mask while inside of the studio for services. 

All guests will be asked mandatory screening questions 48 hours before coming in for their appointment.

  • Are you currently experiencing any of the below symptoms?

    Fever
    Cough or barking cough 
    Shortness of breath
    Decrease or loss of taste or smell
    Headache
    Sore throat

  • Have you tested positive for COV-19 in the last 10 days?*

  • Have you had close contact without PPE to a probable or confirmed case of COV-19 in the last 7 days?*

  • Have you been advised to quarantine by a medical professional in the last 7 days?

Anyone who answers YES to any of the above will be required to reschedule their appointment.
Guests must be 10 days out from confirmed covid-19 illness, or 7 days out from contact with a confirmed covid-19 positive to come to the studio.

You will be asked to sanitize or wash your hands on arrival.

We are maintaining and exceeding protocols outlined for Personal Service Settings as outlined by Toronto Public Health and the Government of Ontario. Our detailed Safety Plan is available HERE.

To protect the privacy of our staff, we will not be disclosing personal medical information, however, we are diligent in doing all we can to ensure this space is safe for our guests and our staff. This includes a mandatory Rapid Antigen Test taken by all staff once per week.

We have a zero tolerance policy for anyone being disrespectful, or not following the rules. Failure to adhere can result in an end to our professional relationship in the studio.

RESERVATIONS

You will receive a confirmation email 48 hours prior to your reservation that includes a mandatory health and safety questionnaire. We must receive the completed form 24 hours before your reservation, otherwise the reservation may be cancelled and a fee charged.

CANCELLATION

Last minute cancellations and reschedules mean that we usually cannot fill that reservation spot, which means a loss for the business, as well as the stylist. We require more than 48 hours notice for any changes, otherwise a fee of 50% of the service will be charged. Cancelling within 12 hours or not showing up will result in 100% of the service being charged.

Three cancellations of an appointment with less than 5 days notice within a year will require a credit card on file to rebook the next appointment.

LATE POLICY

We want to respect everyones time, our stylists and our guests. To ensure that everyone has a great experience, arriving 15 minutes late or longer may result in a reduced service or rescheduling your appointment. The cancellation policy will still be in effect for these types of changes.

ILLNESS

We want to encourage everyone to take care of themselves! Some of our staff have health conditions that may become more serious even with a simple cold. Should you arrive sick, we reserve the right to refuse service for the safety of our staff and other guests. Thank you!

ENERGY

We ask that you be mindful of the energy you bring into the studio. This is a positive space for both our staff, as well as guests, and we want to ensure it remains that way. Any behaviour that is disrespectful, aggressive, or makes our team feel uncomfortable will not be tolerated.

PERFUMES

We try to remain a scent free space, although a small number of our products contain a light smell. Please refrain from wearing perfumes or scented personal care products before coming in.

ADJUSTMENTS

Should you not be satisfied with your service, please contact us as soon as possible. Complementary redo’s are at the discretion of the stylist and must be completed within 2 weeks of the service. Corrective colour services are exempt from this and all other sessions will be at an additional cost. We do not offer refunds on services.

CHILDREN

We do not use permanent hair colour on children under 12 years old. There are semi permanent options for them. This is due to their bodies handling toxins differently than adults, as well as their hair being softer and more easily damaged. We will give them all the funky cuts they want!
