HAIR HOLISTIC

Hair Holistic was started in 2017 by Diana Osborne, after she was unable to work in traditional salons due to chemical sensitivity. She knew there was a better, healthier way to create beautiful hair, and just like that, Hair Holistic was born.

We have steadily grown, expanding to our new location on Bloor Street West in Toronto Fall of 2019. We provide a safe and healthy space to create beautiful hair and educate both guests and stylists on lifestyle and products that are good for you and the planet.

We are a gender neutral salon, which just means prices are based on length of hair, specialty of service and time required, instead of your gender. We are a safe space for men, women and everyone outside the binary.

In Spring 2020, we launched our online store, so ensure that you have access to the best products, no matter where you are. We are proud to be completely transparent, with full ingredient lists for every product we retail.

We are incredibly grateful for our community, who continue to support and inspire us everyday.

We donate 1% of all goods and services sold, to various organizations, including a Canadian water organization, LGBTQ2S, and BIPOC support.

We are very intentional on the lines we partner with. We look for professional efficacy, cruelty free, with clean ingredients, and ethical practices.

Our primary lines consist of Innersense Organic Beauty, Hairstory and Organic Colour Systems.

We also are proud stockists of:

In early 2020 we were thrilled to start an art installation by Linds Miyo, Wonder and Story. All pieces are available for purchase, or simply to enjoy while in the studio.

We collaborate with Green Circle Salons to divert 95% of our waste away from the landfill.

We truly believe that we can change the world, while creating beautiful healthy hair, and we welcome you to join us!

We always love connecting with like minded people.

We wish to acknowledge this land on which our hair salon operates. For thousands of years the city known as “Toronto” has been home to human activity. This area we stand on is the traditional land of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to live and work on this land.
